Extracurricular Programs in Los Gatos

Join us for quarterly sessions focused around specialized skills or interests for children ages 3-5 years, outside of their regular classroom time! These classes are also open to the public. See below for our tailored, seasonal enrichment offerings. Click the purple button to enroll!

Spring 2026 Enrichment Schedule

The spring enrichment program runs from April 13th – May 22th, 2026. Classes are each 45 minutes in length and take place once per week during the session. Parents are not expected to be present or participate in the class, however, if your child is not enrolled in the APJCC Preschool, you must stay onsite.

Children who are 3 years old by the start of the session are eligible for classes held at 12:30pm. Children who are 4 years old and are not napping by the start of the session are eligible for classes held at 1:30pm and 2:30pm.

Amazing Athletes

April 13th – May 18th | $222

A multi-sport program that introduces the fundamentals of 10 different sports while teaching the importance of patience, teamwork and self-confidence in a fun, non-competitive environment.

We will develop physical literacy, learn about nutrition and muscle identification, and master 6 key motor skills over the course of the session. (6 classes)

Fairy Tales!

April 13th – May 18th | $192

Each week we will explore a different fairytale from my extensive library, and work on a project associated with the story. After each book, we will dive a little deeper into the story with a different activity each week. We’ll sculpt characters, build imaginary robots, imagine our own stories, and even do a little cooking. (6 classes)

Bizzy Bodies: Music & Movement

April 14th – May 19th | $192

Get your groove on to a wide variety of music from around the world and different genres. Build coordination and style that’s all your own. Join friends and learn the etiquette of partner dancing. Explore many styles of movement using fun props, instruments, and costumes. Activities change weekly and can include games, stories, dance routines, and more.

Scary Tales!

April 14th – May 19th | $192

As a lifelong fan of scary stories, I have built quite the collection of creepy tales for children about witches, ghosts, and even very large cats. Children so often love these stories because it gives them the power to explore something that might be frightening in a fun and controlled way. After reading the story each week, we will explore our thoughts through a specialized art project associated with the book.

Join us in exploring foods and the joys of cooking! From snacks and main dishes, to sweet and savory foods. Learning how to work with basic ingredients, we will create delicious recipes to enjoy with friends and family; becoming more confident in the kitchen with prep and cooking skills that can be used for a lifetime.

Let’s Go Gardening!

Get ready to roll up your sleeves and immerse yourself in a sensory exploration in the garden! We will be preparing the garden, planting seedlings, exploring bugs, making art, and so much more. Our gardening instructor is a former APJCC Preschool teacher with many years of experience and a love for the garden. We are so excited to have her back, we can’t wait to get our hands dirty with her!

Snapology: Jr. Creator’s Club

April 17th – May 15th | $160

for 3-4 yrs old

Watch your little learner explore and be amazed at what they can create! Your child will participate in various creative play activities designed to promote the creative, social, and expressive skills. Through building with LEGO® DUPLO® and K’nex, imaginative play, and stories, your learner won’t even realize how much they are learning! (5 classes)

Snapology: KinderBots Robotics
April 17th – May 15th | $160

for 4-5 yrs old

1:30pm – 2:15pm

Children will begin to explore the world of robotics as they build simple models that teach the fundamentals of robotic design. Whether learning about sensors while building drills and magic wands, or discovering ways that gears and pulleys create movement while building helicopters and robotic dogs, your child is sure to have a great time. (5 classes)
