Our Philosophy & Values
At APJCC Preschool, we believe childhood is a valuable stage in life, not just preparation for what’s next. Inspired by Jewish values and open to families of all backgrounds, we offer a play-based, inquiry-driven curriculum where children help shape their own learning.
Our teachers meet children where they are, supporting social-emotional milestones, curiosity, and a love of learning beyond memorizing facts. We encourage children to be good citizens in the classroom, embracing diversity and practicing care for themselves, others, and their community.

Our Values
At the APJCC Preschool, Jewish values and traditions are at the heart of what we do. We celebrate each child’s individuality and warmly welcome families of all faiths, cultures, and backgrounds.

Our Master Teachers
At APJCC Preschool, our master teachers bring years of expertise and a passion for early childhood education. Beyond leading their own classrooms, they mentor and support other instructors, sharing best practices, modeling innovative teaching strategies, and fostering a collaborative culture. This approach ensures every child benefits from a team of educators continually growing, learning, and inspiring one another.
Nap and Rest Time
At the APJCC Preschool we give all full-time children the opportunity to nap during their busy day. It is important for children to have some down time to recharge and finish out their day. We also know that children are at various stages in giving up their nap. In collaboration with families, we assess individual needs for allowing children to stop napping. Children rest/sleep on two inch vinyl covered mats.
Learning Beyond Screens
At APJCC Preschool, we intentionally keep technology out of the classroom. We know that children already have plenty of exposure to screens at home, so we provide a space where they can explore, create, and discover without devices. In our classrooms, children learn through play, hands-on activities, and curiosity-driven exploration. This approach emphasizes social interaction, creativity and learning how to learn, helping build a strong foundation for lifelong curiosity and growth.

We are proud to build a caring, nurturing, and supportive community where families feel connected and valued. At the APJCC Preschool, your child’s safety and well-being come first. Our preschool operates on a fully closed campus with secure entry, giving families peace of mind and children the freedom to learn and play with confidence.
