At APJCC Preschool, we intentionally keep technology out of the classroom. We know that children today are already surrounded by screens at home, so we provide a space where they can explore, create, and discover without devices.

In our classrooms, learning happens through play, hands-on activities, and curiosity-driven exploration. Children engage with their environment, with their peers, and with ideas in ways that build social skills, creativity, and confidence. They are not just learning facts, they are learning how to learn.

This screen-free approach supports each child’s natural curiosity and encourages a love of discovery that lasts a lifetime. By fostering imagination, collaboration, and problem-solving, we help children develop the skills and confidence they need to grow into thoughtful, capable, and inquisitive individuals. At APJCC Preschool, learning truly goes beyond screens.

Our approach is also rooted in Jewish values and community. Through shared experiences, celebrations, and discussions, children learn the importance of kindness, respect, and helping others. By engaging in activities that reflect these values, students grow not only academically and socially, but also as part of a caring and connected community that extends beyond the classroom.
