Thank you for all that you do to make the magic happen at the JCC preschool for our little ones. For 3 years we’ve watched our daughter learn, grow, and thrive in the nurturing environment you all help to foster. And now, we have the pleasure of watching our youngest follow in big sister’s footsteps. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the thought, care and work you put into cultivating this community of light and joy for our kiddos and the entire APJCC preschool community. Our Philosophy

At APJCC Preschool, we embrace a developmental, play-based approach to early childhood education. We believe that play is the essential work of children, allowing them to explore their world and build vital connections with people and their surroundings. These early experiences of discovery lay the foundation for more formal education in the future.

Our philosophy thrives on a collaborative partnership between staff, parents, and children. Our staff, deeply knowledgeable in child development, focuses on understanding each child’s unique needs, strengths, and interests. With an emphasis on inquiry and exploration, we create a safe, stimulating, and enriching environment where learning happens naturally.

By fostering curiosity and providing opportunities for meaningful play, we celebrate childhood as a valuable stage in life, not just a stepping stone to what’s next.

For Parents:

At APJCC Preschool, we value the vital role that families play in our community. Parents, grandparents, siblings, and other visiting relatives are always welcome to visit the classroom. We encourage family members to share their skills and interests with the children and to share family traditions with the teacher and class. Collaboration is key; we invite parents to work as a team with teachers and administrators by sharing information and concerns about their child(ren) to support their development.

For Children:

Every child at APJCC Preschool is treated with respect and dignity at all times by our staff and administration. We nurture each child in warm, caring relationships, providing a safe space for growth. Our classrooms offer a maximum of free choice experiences, allowing children to explore and learn both indoors and outdoors. We appreciate and celebrate each child as an individual, recognizing their unique qualities and interests.

We are so grateful for all that you do for our kids. We’ve been a JCC family for some time now and we are thankful to have such a warm and loving environment that truly cares about our kids. Our kids loved their time at the JCC and have/had such a special relationship with all of their teachers and all of the staff they’ve come across.

Flexible Scheduling

We understand that families need flexibility. That’s why all our programs offer scheduling options to fit your busy life. You can choose from up to 5 days per week, with the following choices:

Mornings: 8:30am-12:00pm

Full Days: 8:30am-4:00pm

TK partial day: 8:30am-1:30pm

Extended Days: 8:30am-5:30pm

Early Morning Drop-Off:
Available starting at 7:30am
